Dan D'Agostino est une marque américaine connue pour ses créations dans le domaine de l'amplification Hifi totalement hors norme. À côté d'elle, Accuphase ou McIntosh pourraient passer pour des marques grand public. Aussi, le nouvel intégré stéréo Dan D'Agostino Pendulum, présenté à l'occasion du High End 2024 de Munich, semble presque abordable, même si son prix annoncé est de 15 000 $ aux États-Unis, ce qui devrait l'amener en Europe aux alentours de 20 000 €.

At the heart of the Pendulum Integrated Amplifier lies ingeniously re-engineered JFET input circuit topology, derived from the acclaimed Momentum C4 Preamplifier. This innovative technology upgrades the performance and precision of the entire platform, guaranteeing an immersive listening experience that transcends expectations from a component its size.

Exceptional Power Supply​

Driven by a custom toroidal transformer rated at 750VA and complemented by a nearly 25,000 μF capacitor bank, the Pendulum Integrated Amplifier delivers robust power output within a compact design. This advanced power supply ensures stable performance and minimizes distortion, allowing the amplifier to effortlessly drive challenging loudspeakers to their full potential.

Versatile Connectivity​

Seamless integration with a variety of audio sources is key to the Pendulum’s versatility. Analog connections include one single-ended input for turntable use and three balanced inputs, one with theater pass-through.
